she doesn't deserve to die for a broken heart...at 12 months old learning life is not always fair

Jasmine is just a baby at 12 months old and learning life is not always fair. She was left behind when her owner moved without her. She tries to make the best of the situation and comes on her own on the bench, for some bonding - but she wants her family back so bad. She wants the “real thing” or nothing. She's a little princess who deserves her fairy tale. NOT RESERVED - Jasmine WILL BE KILLED SHORTLY at San Bernardino City Animal Shelter.

I am a female, cream Terrier. Shelter staff think I am about 1 year old.

PLEASE READ HER HEARTBREAKING STORY told by her volunteer "It is quite sad that the surrenders did not leave any profile on Jasmine. We just do not know who she really is. Her owner left her with his/her parents as he/she went out of state. The parents did not want the dog and brought her to the shelter. The owner called the shelter saying he would take her back. The shelter held poor Jasmine for a few days but owner never picked her up. I guess he had no place to put her... I met Jasmine at the beginning of her stay. She was a little skittish, not super trusting but she was coming along slowly. other dogs did not seem to be her cup of tea but may be she never mingled with any? Days passed and she did not feel right at all about what was happening to her and became more and more edgy, difficult to connect with...and she started acting up. Yesterday, I could not even take her out anymore. She grabbed my leash in the kennel and would not let go...Frustration well understandable. Yesterday, I understood that that was the end for her and here she is on the ARL. She can not indeed stay any longer in a cage. It just hurts her soul."
