Depressed 2-Year-Old Pup Dumped at High Kill Shelter, Is Formally Placed On Death Row

My mother always used to tell me how tough life is. She also used to tell me that life was unfair and that you could work hard, and still end up with very little. For one dog named Niner, his diligence in trying to find a forever family is just not paying off.

The 2-year-old pup, who makes a temporary home in confined kennel space at the notorious Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena, California, has all but given up. Time after time, Niner has been overpassed for other dogs. And so instead of sitting up, and greeting shelter patrons with a paw and a smile like he routinely does, the sad pup is just too depressed to even lift his head anymore. Sad indeed.

A Petharbor listing for Niner reads,

“My name is Niner and I am described as a male, tan and white Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years old.”

SpeakUp, if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family he rightfully deserves, please contact the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Carson at (310) 523-9566 and reference the shelter ID #A5035594.

Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter, so we are closer to finding Niner a home. We have done it before and can certainly do it again.
